The Manheim Central School District is looking to hire a Full-Time Facilities Services Technician to join our maintenance team.
Under general supervision, the hired candidate will perform a wide range of facilities services including maintenance and repair of building structures, fixtures, equipment, and materials throughout the district. They will also perform routine grounds maintenance that may include watering, raking, mowing, weeding, snow removal, planting, trash/litter removal, and preparation of athletic fields for athletic events. Work related to the safety of those who use the buildings is of critical importance as well as keeping the buildings secure and functional. Performance of tasks of other trades such as carpentry and grounds work expected.
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3-5 years of trades experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified are required.
Benefit-Eligible, 12-Month Position
Hours: 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., with a half-hour unpaid lunch
